Paneer Masala Recipe

This is fast to make and taste yummy with chapati or poori or bhaturas..Its been a while since i shared any paneer recipes, so i decided to make this quick fix curry and share it with you all.

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins
Serves – 4


Ingredients:

Oil – 3 tblspn
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1 tsp
Cinnamon / Pattai – 1 small piece
Onion – 1 large chopped finely
Garlic – 5 chopped finely
Tomato – 2 chopped finely
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – to taste
Paneer – 200 grams cubed
Cornflour – 2 tsp
Milk – 1/2 cup

Method:

Mix cornflour with milk and set aside.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add in paneer and fry till golden. Soak it in hot water and set aside.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add in cumin, cinnamon and let it sizzle. Add in onions and garlic and saute till golden.

Add in tomatoes and cook till mushy. 

Add in spice powders, salt, sugar and mix well.

Add in water and mix well.

Add in paneer and mix well. Add in cornflour mix and mix well.

Add in garam masala powder and mix well.

Serve with roti.

Take all your ingredients

    Hello! May I ask why the paneer should be soaked in warm water after frying? Thanks.
