We are enjoying a lot of travel right now, today i spend whole day in udayagiri fort which was a lot of fun. We walked a lot, ate a lot of food and it was a great fun filled day. We reached home in the evening, after a couple of hours rest we took the car at 9 pm and took a drive to kanyakumari. YES, can you imagine how you will feel when you are near the shore at night. It was so exciting, happy, fun, thrill and totally awesome..I am loving long drives at night right now..

We reached home right now, I somehow found some time to post this yummy recipe which was in my draft.. I wanted to post this so badly, because this has become my favorite breakfast recipe. You all remember the panettone recipe which i posted right here..

After enjoying few slices of fresh panettone, i had lots of leftovers. I decided to make french toast using that. And it turned out to be awesome..I still had few slices of it leftover, which i turned into a simple awesome dish which i will post soon..

The panettone absorbed all those vanilla custard and when i fryed those in some butter, they turned out even more tasty. Frying this fruity bread in butter makes it even more tasty..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 to 20 mins
Serves – 3 to 4

Ingredients:

Panettone Bread – 8 slices
Eggs – 2
Milk – 1/2 cup / 125 ml
Sugar –  4 tblspn or as needed
Vanilla Essence- 1 tblspn
Butter as needed for frying
Powdered Sugar for serving

Method:

Take a bowl, crack open eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla in a bowl and mix well.

Melt some butter in a pan on medium heat.

Take a bread slice and dip it in the egg mixture and soak it for 15 seconds on each side.

Put the dipped bread over the hot butter and cook on low heat for 2 to 3 mins on each sides till golden.

Transfer it to a serving plate and dust it with powdered sugar.

Enjoy.

Pictorial:
