Raw Mango Poriyal Recipe – Manga Poriyal Recipe

This is a quick and easy poriyal which is made using Raw mango. It is fast to make and needs just a handful of ingredients. Taste great with rasam or sambar rice or anything. This dish can be done in under 20 mins or so. You can make this and have it on its own as well, it is that delicious. The mango taste little sweet, tangy and spicy. Total YUM..

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serves: 3

Ingredients:
Raw Mango- 2 peeled and cubed

Salt to taste

Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp

Oil – 3 tblspn
Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi a pinch
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 2 tblspn

Method:
Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard seeds,asafoetida. let them sizzle.

Add in mango, turmeric and salt and toss well. Cook till it gets cooked.

Add in chilli powder, salt and mix well.

Serve.

Chop up the raw mango, if the skin it too thick, 
you can peel them
heat oil in a pan
add mustard seeds
add asafoetida
add raw mangoes
toss well
add turrmeric powder and salt
toss well
cook for few mins
now cover the pan and cook
now add chilli powder
mix well
add sugar
mix well
done
Serve
