    Baby Corn in Hot Garlic Sauce Recipe with step by step pictures. This garlic baby corn made with Baby corn and the Hot Garlic Sauce.

    Baby Corn in Hot Garlic Sauce

    This is a quick and easy side dish you can make to have with fried rice or noodles. It is not only easy to make but very tasty as well. 

    I made this for lunch few days back and served it with baby corn pulao.

    Ingredients for Baby Corn in Hot Garlic Sauce

    • Baby Corn - 15 cut in half lengthwise
    • Cornflour / Cornstarch - ¼ cup
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • Oil - 3 tbsp
    For Sauce:
    • Ginger - 1 tbsp
    • Garlic - 3 tbsp
    • Onion - 1 small chopped finely
    • Green Chilli - 2 chopped
    • Tomato Ketchup - 4 tbsp
    • Soy Sauce - 2 tsp
    • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
    • Vinegar - 1 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - 2 tsp
    • Spring onion a handful finely chopped

    How to make Baby Corn in Hot Garlic Sauce

    1. Take baby corn in a sauce pan, cover with water and boil for 5 mins till it is cooked, drain and take it in a bowl. Now add in cornflour, salt and pepper and mix well. Add little water as needed. Mix well.
    2. Now heat little oil in a pan, add the baby corn in it and fry till golden brown and crispy. Drain and set aside.
    3. In the same oil, add ginger garlic and fry till golden.
    4. Add in onion, green chillies, salt and cook till golden brown.
    5. Now add in ketchup, soy sauce, chilli powder and mix well.
    6. Add water and bring it to a boil. Add vinegar, sugar and mix well. Now add in some of the cornflour water and mix well. Once it thickens, add baby corn back in.
    7. Mix well. Add spring onion and mix well.
    8. Serve.

    Ingredients

    • 15 Baby Corn cut in half lengthwise

    • Add water and bring it to a boil. Add vinegar, sugar and mix well. Now add in some of the cornflour water and mix well. Once it thickens, add baby corn back in.
    • Mix well. Add spring onion and mix well.
    • Serve.

    Garlic Baby Corn Recipe step by step pictures

    Take your ingredients
    Take baby corn in a sauce pan, cover with water
    bring it to a boil and cook till tender
    drain and set aside
    add cornflour
    add salt
    pepper
    add little water and mix well
    now heat little oil in a pan, add babycorn in
    fry till golden brown
    drain and set aside
    IN the same oil
    add ginger and garlic
    saute well
    cook till golden
    add onions and chillies
    cook till golden
    add salt
    mix well
    add ketchup
    soy sauce
    chilli powder
    mix well
    add water
    mix well
    add sugar
    add in vinegar
    bring it to a boil
    now to the remaining cornflour from the babycorn, add some water and mix well
    pour it back in
    cook till thickens
    add babycorn back in
    mix well
    add spring onion
    Serve
