Schezwan fried chicken with step by step pictures. Spicy and tasty chicken fry which taste yummy.

    Schezwan Chicken Fry

The inspiration for this recipe comes from a dinner few weeks back had in a restaurant. We ordered this schezwan chicken fry and it came out just like this and tasted amazing.

Szechwan cuisine is a Chinese cuisine style that originated in Sichuan Province. It has strong flavours, especially pungency and spiciness from the liberal use of garlic and chilli peppers, as well as the distinct flavour of Sichuan pepper.

    How does szechuan chicken taste?

It has a variety of flavours, including spicy, sweet, and salty. The peppercorn, garlic, and soy sauce combination creates a savoury, spicy flavour with a hint of sweetness from the sugar.

I love schezwan cooking, specially when it has an indian touch to it. I have quite a few schezwan recipes in my blog as well and this one is an addition to it and it is going to be a keeper, Since it tasted amazing.

    What does Szechwan chicken mean?

Crispy chicken thigh meat is stir-fried with dried red chilli peppers, Szechuan peppercorns, and other seasonings in authentic Szechuan Chicken. It comes from Szechuan province, which is known for its spicy cuisine in Chinas interior. Szechuan cuisine is popular both in China and around the world.

Ingredients For Schezwan Chicken Fry Recipe :

    Dry Red Chillies :
Red chilies were introduced to India by Portuguese traders from Mexico. India is now the world leader in the cultivation of dry red chilies. Red chilies are more commonly consumed in hotter regions of India, such as Rajasthan, because they help to keep the blood clean and thin.

    Soy Sauce :
Soy sauce is a traditional Chinese condiment that is widely used in East Asia to add flavour to a variety of cooked foods as well as to aid digestion. sauce is made from fermented soybean paste, roasted grain, brine, and the mould Aspergillus oryzae or Aspergillus sojae.

    Sesame Seeds :
Sesame seeds complement chicken and other meats, as well as warm salads and salad dressings. They also give stir-fried and rice dishes a distinct flavour. Tahini, a smooth paste commonly used in Middle Eastern dishes, is made from ground sesame seeds.

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
