    Semiya Ice

    Semiya Ice is my mom's and my favourite too, I used to have it daily when i was little during my vacation. I used to wait for the icecream seller in the afternoon and get this and enjoy it when it dripped all over my hand. GOOD TIMES!

    Ingredients for Semiya Ice

    • Semiya / Vermicelli - ¼ cup or a small handful
    • Milk - 1 liter
    • Sugar - 1 cup
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

    My mom asked me to make this popsicle for her and immediately i tried it and she enjoyed it to the core..This is so easy to make, it needs just 4 ingredients and taste simply superb..

    This is my final popsicle recipe which i made for this summer. But i wanted to share kulfi recipe so badly, i hope i will share it soon because my sister got me kulfi mould from bombay and i have to use it as soon as possible.

    How to Make Semiya Ice

    1. Take semiya, milk in a sauce pan, bring it to a boil.
    2. Simmer the flame and cook on a medium heat till the semiya is cooked.
    3. Now add in sugar and simmer for few more mins.
    4. Now add in essence and mix well.
    5. Pour this into a jug and let it cool a little.
    6. Pour this into moulds and pop it into the freezer and freeze till it is half set.
    7. Now insert popsicle stick into it and pop it back into the freezer and let it set overnight.
    8. When unmoulding, run the mould under tap water and slowly unmould.
    9. Enjoy immediately.

    You will need milk, semiya and sugar..You also need some vanilla essence

    Take semiya in a large sauce pan

    Cover with milk

    Cook them on low heat till the semiya is cooked
