Preparation Time : 15 mins
Baking Time : 7 to 10 mins
Makes : 15 to 18
Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1.5 cups / 180 grams
Unsalted Butter – 120 grams Soft
Sugar – 3/4 cup / 150 grams
Cinnamon – 1/4 tsp
Nutmeg – 1/4 tsp
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda – 1/2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Egg – 1 large
Vanilla – 1/2 tsp
For Cinnamon Sugar:
Sugar – 1/4 cup
Cinnamon – 1 tsp
Nutmeg a pinch
(My one cup measures 240 ml)
Method:
Preheat oven to 220 Degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment and set aside.
Take butter in a sauce pan and melt it gently, set aside to cool.
Take flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, salt and mix well. Make a well in the center and set aside.
Now take the butter and add in egg, vanilla in it and mix well.
Pour this over the dry ingredients and mix well.
Now in a plate, take sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Take the dough and divide into equal balls. Roll each one in the cinnamon sugar and arrange it in the baking tray leaving space between each one. Flatten it slightly.
Bake this for 7 to 8 mins. Remove it and let it cool for 10 mins. Remove it to a cooling rack and let it cool completely.
Store in a container.

arrange it |
leave space between them |
flatten them |
cookies are flattened..Time to bake |
baked to perfection |
