    Snickerdoodle Cookies Recipe

    I made this quite a few months back and i almost forgot about it. When i was going through my instagram i found this post and remembered, immediately i edited the post and sharing it with you all.

    Ingredients for Snickerdoodle Cookies

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1.5 cups / 180 grams
    • Unsalted Butter - 120 grams Soft
    • Sugar - ¾ cup / 150 grams
    • Cinnamon - ¼ tsp
    • Nutmeg - ¼ tsp
    • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ½ tsp
    • Salt a pinch
    • Egg - 1 large
    • Vanilla - ½ tsp

    How to Make Snickerdoodle Cookies

    1. Preheat oven to 220 Degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment and set aside.
    2. Take butter in a sauce pan and melt it gently, set aside to cool.
    3. Take flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, salt and mix well. Make a well in the centre and set aside.
    4. Now take the butter and add in egg, vanilla in it and mix well.
    5. Pour this over the dry ingredients and mix well.
    6. Now in a plate, take sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Take the dough and divide into equal balls. Roll each one in the cinnamon sugar and arrange it in the baking tray leaving space between each one. Flatten it slightly.
    7. Bake this for 7 to 8 mins. Remove it and let it cool for 10 mins. Remove it to a cooling rack and let it cool completely.
    8. Store in a container.

    Take all your ingredients
     
     
    Take butter in a sauce pan
     
     
    melt it gently..Set aside till it gets cold
     
     
    take flour in a bowl
     
     
    Add in sugar
     
     
    add in baking soda
     
     
    and some salt
     
     
    add in a pinch of nutmeg
     
     
    and cinnamon
     
     
    mix well
     
     
    now take the cooled butter, add in vanilla
     
     
    add in 1 egg
     
     
    mix well
     
     
    make a well in the dry ingredients
     
     
    pour the egg butter mix in
     
     
    mix well
     
     
    it will come together easily
     
     
     
     
     
    take a small portion
     
     
    roll it into ball
     
     
     
     
    take sugar in a plate
     
     
    add little cinnamon
     
     
    and some nutmeg
     
     
    mix this up
     
     
    this is your cinnamon sugar
     
     
    take the ball
     
     
    roll it out
     
     
     
     
     
    line a tray with parchment or foil

     

     
    arrange it 
     
     
    leave space between them
     
     
     
     
     
    flatten them
     
     
    cookies are flattened..Time to bake
     
     
    baked to perfection
