    Whole Wheat Tofu Pizza Recipe with step by step pictures. Tofu grilled with spices and topped over whole wheat pizza crust. Wholesome tofu pizza for kids snacks.

     

    Tofu Pizza Recipe

    I grilled some tofu cubes and topped it over the pizza which made it even more healthier..Tofu naturally has no flavour on its own so I spiced up the tofu pieces to give it a kick as well as flavour.I used Tomato ketchup as pizza sauce but you can use pizza sauce in it.     Ingredients for Tofu Pizza

    • Whole Wheat Pizza Base
    • Tofu – 1 block cubed
    • Thick Curd / Greek Yoghurt-1 cup
    • Chilli powder-1 tsp
    • Garam masala powder-1 tsp
    • Mozzarella Cheese as needed
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Oregano-1 tsp
    • Tomato Ketchup or Pizza Sauce as needed 
    • Olive oil - 1 tbsp

    How to Make Whole Wheat Tofu Pizza Recipe

    Marinating Tofu

    In a mixing bowl add in cubed tofu, yogurt, chilli powder, garam masala powder, oregano, salt and pepper and mix well. Let this marinate for 30 mins.

    Tofu Filling for Pizza

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add in the marinated tofu and leave it alone for 5 mins till the yoghurt evaporates.Make sure to stir in between so it doesn’t stick at the bottom. Once all yoghurt evaporates fry this for 1 min until the sides are seared. Remove this and set aside.

    Preheating Oven

    Preheat the oven to 500°F / 250°C.

    Assembling the Pizza

    Now take the pizza dough out and roll it thinly.Lift the dough and put it in an oiled baking tray. Fold the edges so that you get the perfect rim.(See picture for more detail). Now spread ketchup on top evenly.Sprinkle half of the cheese over this and add prepared tofu cubes over this. Sprinkle the remaining cheese.

    Baking the Pizza

    bake it in the oven for 15 mins. Cut into slices and serve hot.

    Ingredients

    • Whole Wheat Pizza Base

    Tofu Pizza Recipe Step by Step Pictures

     
    Take all your ingredients
    You need a block of tofu
     
     
    Take your tofu
     
     
    Slice it in middle
     
     
    so you get two slices
     
     
    chop it up..so you get small cubes
    add your tofu cubes
     
     
    pour in curd
     
     
    add in oregano
    and your spices
     
     
    add in pepper..
     
     
    add salt
    mix well and marinate it for 15-30 mins
     
     
    heat oil
     
     
     
    add in tofu cubes
     
     
    cook until the curd evaporates
     
     
    stir well
     
     
    cook until it is well seared
     
     
    and golden
     
     
    remove to a bowl

    I made two pizza out of this. So divide your dough
    Take it on your work top
     
     
    Roll it thinly
     
     
    fold the edges
     
     
    all done..
     
     
    spread ketchup or pizza sauce
     
     
    spread it evenly
    Now grate your cheese
    spread half of it on top
     
     
    add in tofu cubes
     
     
    sprinkle remaining cheese
     
     
    bake it

      My oven do not have 250 deg C it only has uptil 200 deg.Pl suggest which temp to preheat and bake this pizza

      i am big follower of your website. Recently brought microwave oven but it is Max of 200 temperature, But you mentioned as 250°C with 15 min. based on my oven how time difference should i keep for pizza and other recepies
