How to Make Veggie Pizza at Home

    Pizza Dough

Start by making the dough, mix yeast and sugar in warm water. set aside for 5 mins. Take flour, salt and olive oil in a bowl. Add in the yeast water and make it into a soft dough. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 to 2 hours till it is doubled in size.

Preheating Oven & Pan for Pizza

preheat oven to 220 degree c. Heat only the bottom heating element mode in oven. Take half of the dough and spread it evenly in an oiled surface till it is circle in shape. Make sure the sides are little thicker than the centre. Heat a cast iron pan on stove till it is very hot. Turn off the heat. Add in little olive oil.

    Assembling Pizza

Place the spread pizza base in the pan and spread pizza sauce on top generously. Now sprinkle your topping. I used onions, both colour capsicum. Transfer the cast iron pan into the oven, place it in the lowest rack of the oven. Cook this for 10 to 12 mins till the base is crispy.

    Baking Pizza

Now remove the pizza from the oven, spread cheese all over it. Arrange some black olives on top. Drizzle little extra olive oil. Pop the pan back into the oven. Now place the oven rack close to the grill on top. Set the oven to grill mode and cook till the cheese is bubbly and golden it will take around 2 mins.

    Serving

Remove the pan from oven and sprinkle some oregano seasoning. Carefully remove the pizza from the pan, slice into triangles. Serve.

You must have cooked it on high heat. Cook on medium heat.
