Hai Friends..Hope you are having a great weekend..Today my loving brother came to our house..He has just returned from UK..He bought us lots of good stuffs..Of Course I took Pictures of it..Will share it in my other blog soon..

I prepared some simple yet yummy lunch..I made Ghee rice, Malabar Egg Curry and Chicken 65 for him..Amma made Venthaya Kulambu, Rice, Brinjal Fry too..He totally enjoyed the meal.I am planning to make bakarwadi now to go along with our evening tea..That recipe is one of my viewer requested recipe..Will post it soon.

Now coming back to todays recipe..I love pizza a lot..I can eat it all day..But I won’t..The one thing that made me to stay away from it is thinking about the fat and calories. After I discovered this recipe, believe it or not, I started making pizza once a week.

This base is a healthy and low fat recipe for the most healthiest pizza..To turn this dough even more good, I added some yummy as well as healthy toppings..Will share the pizza recipe in my next post.So wait for it..

So here you go to the step by step recipe with pictures..

Ingrediants:

Whole Wheat Flour / Atta-1 cup / 250 gms

Yeast-2 tsp

Honey-1 tblspn

Salt to taste

Olive Oil-1 tblspn

Warm Water as needed

Method:

In a mixing bowl add flour, yeast, honey, salt and mix well.

Pour in warm water and make into a soft dough.

Tip the dough out of the bowl and knead it for 5 mins..

Now put this in a well oiled bowl and drizzle some olive oil on top too.

Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour.

Knock out the dough and knead for a minute.

Now shape into pizza, pour your favorite sauce and top it with your favorite toppings and bake it..

Serve hot.

Pictorial:
Take all your ingrediants
take your wheat flour in a mixing bowl
add in yeast
now add in honey
and season with salt
pour in some warm water
and start making the dough
once it starts to come together
tip it onto the work surface
knead to a soft dough
drizzle some olive oil on top
rub all over the dough
cover with a plastic wrap
let it sit for a hour
untill it doubles in size
take it out and punch the air out of it
roll it
and have your yummiest pizza without any guilty.

Tried this aarthi. Very tasty though it is made with wheat flour. But why my dough is not doubling in size? Even when I tried naan using maida also my dough did not raise. But taste wise it is good. What is the brand of yeast u r using? My yeast contains little big size balls not as yours. Does that make any difference?

@MadhuIt is because your yeast is not activated. You have to activate the yeast in warm water with some sugar. If you add yeast to hot water then it will die and the dough wont rise.

Aarthi, recently started trying your recipes. Thanks for the excellent recipes. In this wheat pizza base recipe, the measurement is for dry active yeast or instant yeast ? Could you tell me the measurement for dry active yeast for this recipe ? Also, where to buy good dry active yeast brand in Bangalore ? Thanks in advance

Aarthi,if we were to double the amount of flour, can i double the amount of yeast too? Can I follow your yeast free recipe for WwF? Will it give us soft buns?
Tried both your doughnuts and cinnamon buns. Everyone loved it ♡
