    Yes i know i have become too lazy nowadays. Navaratri is around the corner and blog across the web is flooding with sundals and stuff like that. And i am here posting my first ever sundal recipe. How embarrasing is that. Ok but i have a cool news for you, i have 5 more sundal recipe ready to be posted for you. So keep a eye in this blog on the coming days.

    Ingredients for Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal Recipe

    • Dried White Peas / Vatana - 1 cup
    • Raw Mango - ½ cup chopped into tiny pieces
    • Coconut - ½ cup finely grated
    • Onion - 1 small finely chopped
    • Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped
    • Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
    • Salt to taste

    For Seasoning:

    • Oil - 1 tsp
    • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - 1 tsp
    • Curry leaves - 1 spring

    How to Make Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal Recipe

    1. Soak peas overnight or for 8 hours and add it to pressure cooker along with some salt. Cover with water and pressure cook it for 2 whistle. Let the
      steam go all by itself. Open the pressure cooker and drain them. Set aside till use.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add in the seasoning ingredients and saute for 30 sec.
    3. Now add in onions, green chilli and give a quick toss.
    4. Add in raw mango and mix once.
    5. Add in the cooked peas, chilli powder, salt and mix well.
    6. Once mixed add in coconut and mix once.
    7. Serve.

    Ingredients

    Thenga Manga Pattani Sundal Recipe Step by Step

    You will need some white peas
    Soak them over night
    Drain them and add it to pressure cooker
    Cover with water
    add some salt and cook
    Drain and set aside
    now lets make the sundal
    heat oil in a pan
    add in mustard, urad dal and curry leaves
    add in onions and green chilli and saute for 30 sec
    chopped mango
    give a stir
    add in cooked peas
    a little salt and chilli powder
    mix well
    add in grated coconut
    mix well

      Hi every time I click on the recipe link it redirects me to uber or paytm. It's very irritating because I have to click on the link again and again to read the recipe.
