    Yes i know i have become too lazy nowadays. Navaratri is around the corner and blog across the web is flooding with sundals and stuff like that. And i am here posting my first ever sundal recipe. How embarrasing is that. Ok but i have a cool news for you, i have 5 more sundal recipe ready to be posted for you. So keep a eye in this blog on the coming days.

    Preparation Time : 8 hours
    Cooking Time : 20 mins + 10 mins
    Serves - 2 to 3


    Ingredients:

    Dried White Peas / Vatana - 1 cup
    Raw Mango - ½ cup chopped into tiny pieces
    Coconut - ½ cup finely grated
    Onion - 1 small finely chopped
    Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped
    Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
    Salt to taste

    For Seasoning:
    Oil - 1 tsp
    Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - 1 tsp
    Curry leaves - 1 spring

    Method:

    Soak peas overnight or for 8 hours and add it to pressure cooker along with some salt. Cover with water and pressure cook it for 2 whistle. Let the steam go all by itself. Open the pressure cooker and drain them. Set aside till use.

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add in the seasoning ingredients and saute for 30 sec.

    Now add in onions, green chilli and give a quick toss.

    Add in raw mango and mix once.

    Add in the cooked peas, chilli powder, salt and mix well.

    Once mixed add in coconut and mix once.

    Serve.

    now lets make the sundal

    add in mustard, urad dal and curry leaves

    add in onions and green chilli and saute for 30 sec

    give a stir

    add in cooked peas

    a little salt and chilli powder

    add in grated coconut

    Serve

      Hi every time I click on the recipe link it redirects me to uber or paytm. It's very irritating because I have to click on the link again and again to read the recipe.
