Hi Aarthi, Could you please include adding vanilla essence step in the Method.
I followed the Method instead of looking at the pics and I ended up with Milk agar agar pudding,
which even tasted yummy though:).. Nice Recipes - your blog is lifesaver to me in the kitchen:)

Can I use 1 litre of milk if not using condensed milk. Will it change the taste. And how much of sugar should I used if not using condensed milk.

@shirleyyes it does affect the taste; condensed milk gives the creamy texture

Hi, I made this recipe down to a T except I used agar agar powder instead. It's been four hours and its more like beaten eggs in texture rather than being solid, what could have been the problem? Hoping maybe letting it sit overnight solidifies it, otherwise I will put in freezer and just hope it'll be a delicious "ice cream" lol.

If you are using agar agar powder, add it when the milk is cold. Keep mixing and let it heat together. Make sure to heat it completely so the agar agar is melted completely. If your mix doesn't set, you can transfer the mix back into the sauce pan and heat it again and pour into moulds to set.
