I was quite surprised when i came across this recipe, because i always thought that pasta taste good when it is had with some strong sauces like tomato sauce or cheese sauce. But this recipe calls for only garlic, chilli and olive oil. So i decided to give it a try. Yesterday i was starving in hunger, so decided to try this because it takes only minutes to make. Frankly speaking the minute when the pasta is done the flavourful oil is done. Then you have to just toss the pasta in this and dig in straight away.

I used Del Monte Spaghetti and Del Monte Olive oil..The reason behind this is, since this recipe calls for only minimal ingredients, you should use the best of that. So i used those good stuffs..In this recipe you can taste the real meatiness of the spaghetti without overwhelming the taste with those spicy sauces..
I made this specially for The Del Monte Blogger Recipe Carnival by Indi blogger. You can read more about their products and stuffs by clicking here.. I hope you will love this as much I did and tell me how it turned out for you.
Ingredients:
Del Monte Spaghetti – 250 gms
Del Monte Olive Oil – 6 tblspn
Garlic – 6 fat cloves chopped finely
Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves/ Cilantro – 3 tblspn finely chopped
Salt to taste
Water – to cook pasta
Method:
Bring water to a boil and add salt to it.
Now add in the pasta and cook till al dente or as per package instructions.
Drain it and wash with with plenty of cold water till all the starch goes away.
Now heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic immediately, so that garlic flavours the oil.
When garlic turn light golden. Add chilli flakes and mix well.
Now add in coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Add the pasta in and toss well.
Serve immediately.

Nice one! I've always tried this with chilli powder instead of flakes.. like this idea!
Wow so easy
me encanta!! fácil de hacer y sano. lo preparo muchas veces en casa. un beso
Hmmm... Yummy stuff
A little tip, to make these even better... don't rinse the pasta, because sauce doesn't stick as well. Instead, reserve about one cup of the pasta sauce and add that to the oil and chili peppers. It makes the sauce thicken, and adds flavor. This is one of my favorite fast foods to make at home.

I make this at home...My son loves spaghetti...Awesome Aarthi...
Try using parsley or basil instead of the coriander. Will be a truer Italian flavour and if u like onion dice one up and add with the garlic! So good
simple and delicious:-)
