Chocolate Fudge Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Dark Chocolate Chips, pistachio and Condensed Milk.

    Chocolate Fudge Recipe

I have been a fan of nigella lawson, i never miss a single cooking show of her..I have made and posted quite a few recipe of hers in my blog. This is one of her recipe, i saw her making this in her show long back. I have been longing to try this. But my busy schedule didn't allow me to try. But today i decided to give it a try.

What i did is, i tooked the recipe, modified it, actually microwaved it. Because many of my viewers asked me to post more microwave cake, cookies and sweets recipe after i shared my 5 min microwave mysorepak recipe. So this is for them. And saying this, i made a black forest cake today, you may ask me what is special in that..Yes there is a special thing, it is made in microwave and in 4 mins, frosted and ready to eat in just 30 mins. How cool is that..Will share the recipe tomorrow i hope so..

    Ingredients for Chocolate Fudge Recipe

    • Dark Chocolate Chips - 1 cup
    • Condensed Milk or Milkmaid - ⅓ cup
    • Butter - 1 tbsp
    • Pistachio - ¼ cup roughly chopped

How to make Chocolate Fudge Recipe

    1. Line a 12 cm square baking dish with foil or parchment paper and set aside.
    2. Take pistachio in a chopping board and chop it roughly.
    3. Now in a microwave safe bowl, take chocolate chips, butter and condensed milk. Mix once.
    4. Place this in microwave and set the timing for 1 min. Remove it after 1 mins and mix well using a spatula, if the chocolate is not melted completely, then pop it back into the microwave for 30 sec. Remove it give a stir. By this time the chocolate would be melted, if not pop again for 30 sec.
    5. Now add in pista and mix once.
    6. Pour this mix into the baking dish and smooth the top.
    7. Place this in fridge for 1 hour or in the freezer for 30 mins.
    8. Remove it and invert to peel off the foil. Cut into cubes.
    9. Serve.

Ok what i was saying, i took nigella lawson's recipe and microwaved it and cooked it in less than 2 mins, mine got done in 1 min. And this recipe calls for just 4 ingredient, so i am calling this as 4 Ingredient Microwave 2 Min Chocolate Pistachio Fudge Recipe..It is a long name, i know..So this is that simple, give it a try and let me know how it turned out for you..

    • 1 tbsp Butter
    • ¼ cup roughly chopped Pistachio

    Instructions

    • Line a 12 cm square baking dish with foil or parchment paper and set aside.
    • Take pistachio in a chopping board and chop it roughly.
    • Now in a microwave safe bowl, take chocolate chips, butter and condensed milk. Mix once.

    • Place this in fridge for 1 hour or in the freezer for 30 mins.
    • Remove it and invert to peel off the foil. Cut into cubes.
    • Serve.

    Notes

1)If you dont have microwave, just take everything except pista in a sauce pan and heat it gently on stove. Once it is melted add in pista and continue with the remaining process.
2)Dont microwave on one go, first set timing to 1 min, if the chocolate is not melted in that timing, then pop again for 30 more sec. Dont over cook the chocolate.
3)My chocolate melted in 1 min itself.
4)You can add any nuts of your choice.
5)Lining the tray with foil or parchment helps in taking the fudge out of the tray easily.
6)This fudge should be stored in fridge always.

@AnonymousI will updates. But this recipe you done need measuring cups, You can use any cup to measure the chips and measure other ingredients in that cup itself. Anyway 1 cup chocolate chips is around 150 grams

      Hi Aarthi!

I had some caramel sauce( in which I used milk in place of cream, as cream is not available at Dindigul. The texture was similar to condensed milk). I used that with compound chocolate, cashew, pistachios and added some chilly flakes for surprise. Its softer than yours. I have to refrigerate the batch. But the taste.... Simply superb!!!
