    Basic Cheese Sauce Recipe with step by step pictures. This fabulous creamy homemade cheese sauce is one of the quickest, easiest sauces to make.

    Basic Cheese Sauce

    This is a simple cheese sauce which i made for my attempt in trying dominos cheese burst pizza. This sauce is perfect one for that, but it taste great when served as a dipping sauce for boiled veggies, chips or anything.

    Ingredients for Basic Cheese Sauce

    • Cheese - 1 cup grated ( I used cheddar)
    • Milk - ¾ cup
    • Cornflour / Cornstarch - 1 tbsp
    • Salt to taste
     
    There is so many version of cheese sauce you can make. This one is a very basic version. Will share my different version soon.

    How to Make Basic Cheese Sauce

    1. Grate cheese in a bowl and sprinkle cornflour over it. Toss well and set aside.
    2. Bring milk to a boil in a sauce pan.
    3. Add in the cheese and mix well slowly on low heat. It will melt and gets smooth.
    4. Add salt if needed.
    5. Serve as dipping sauce or cheese spread for sandwiches or stuffing in pizza.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup grated Cheese I used cheddar

    Basic Cheese Sauce Recipe Step by Step

     
    You will be needing, milk, cornflour, salt and some cheese
    Take your cheese in a bowl, you can grate the
    cheese for easy melting
    sprinkle some cornflour
    toss well and set aside
    Take milk in a sauce pan
    bring it to a boil
    add in the cheese
    mix well
    cook on a low heat, keep mixing
    keep mixing
    the cheese will start to melt slowly
    now it is all melted
    look how thick it has got..You can taste this sauce
     and add salt if needed
    This is your cheese sauce
    You can use this as dipping sauce or as a spread
    for your cheese burst pizza
