    Cherry Tomato Raita Recipe with step by step pictures. This cooling yogurt-based accompaniment is perfect for balancing the spice and heat in Biryani and Pulao.

    Cherry Tomato Raita

    Raitas make a great cooling and refreshing sidedish for any spicy biryani, pulao..You can literally make raita with pretty much all veggies likes onions, carrots, beeroots, cucumber, mint or anything. This is a raita which i made with tomatoes, not ordinary tomatoes, i used cherry tomatoes which i bought in the market yesterday.

    Ingredients for Cherry Tomato Raita

    • Thick Yogurt / Greek Yogurt - 1 cup
    • Cherry Tomatoes - 10 (if using normal tomatoes, use 1 large)
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - 1 tsp
    • Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
    • Parsley - 1 tbsp finely chopped

    How to Make Cherry Tomato Raita

    1. Halve the cherry tomatoes and set aside, if using normal big tomatoes use 1 large and cube them.
    2. Take curd, salt, sugar and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well.
    3. Add in tomatoes and parsley and mix well.
    4. Cover and chill untill use.
    5. Serve cold.

    • 1 cup Thick Yogurt / Greek Yogurt
    • 10 Cherry Tomatoes if using normal tomatoes, use 1 large
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp Sugar
    • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

    Cherry Tomato Raita Recipe Step by Step

    Take all your ingredients
    I got these beautiful cherry tomatoes
    cut them in half
    chop up some parsley
    take thick curd in a bowl
    Add in some salt and sugar
    add in some lemon juice
    mix well
    add in tomatoes
    and the parsley

    mix well
    serve
