    Pomegranate Raita Recipe with step by step pictures. Anar Raita is made with Curd, Pomegranate which is very refreshing during hot summer days.

    Pomegranate Raita

    Whenever you make any spicy dishes, the perfect cooling company for it will be raita. This raita i made with pomegranate and it is one of my fav.

    I added some roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt in the yogurt to give a diff flavour and taste to this.

    Ingredients for Pomegranate Raita

    • Pomegranate - 1 cup seeds
    • Yogurt / Curd- 2 cups
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar -1  tsp
    • Chaat Masala Powder - 1 tsp or to taste
    • Black Salt - ½ tsp or to taste
    • Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
    • Roasted Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
    • Coriander leaves / Cilantro - 4 tbsp finely chopped

    How to make Pomegranate Raita

    1. Take yogurt in a bowl, beat it well with a whisk till smooth.
    2. Add all ingredients and mix well.
    3. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
    4. Serve.

    • 1 cup Pomegranate
    • 2 cups Yogurt
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp Sugar
    • 1 tsp Chaat Masala Powder or to taste
    • ½ tsp Black Salt or to taste

    Pomegranate Raita Recipe step by step picture 

    Take all your ingredients
    take a pomegranate
    cut it open
    bash the top using a heavy spoon so the seeds fall off
    collect it in a bowl
    take yogurt in a bowl
    whisk well so it is smooth
    now it is well mixed up
    add little salt and sugar
    sprinkle in roasted cumin powder and chilli powder
    add in chaat masala powder
    add it in
    some black salt
    add a little
    mix well
    add in pomegranate seeds
    add in chopped coriander leaves
    mix well
    Serve
