Onion & Tomato Raita Recipe – Easy Raita Recipes

Raita makes a perfect sidedish for any spicy veg biryani or non veg biryani.. I have quite a few raita recipes, starting from cucumber raita, spinach raita, beetroot raita, radish raita..I even have a onion raita but i wanted to share it will new pictures. Hence this new post..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serves : 4

Ingredients:


Homemade Curd / Yogurt – 2 cup
Onion – 1 large peeled and chopped finely
Tomato – 1 small chopped
Green chillies – 1 chopped finely
Coriander leaves – 3 tblspn chopped finely
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tblspn


Method:

Take onions in a bowl, add in salt, sugar and lemon juice in it and mix well using your hands. Massage it for 2 mins.

Leave the onions to rest for 5 mins.

Add in green chillies. tomatoes and coriander leaves and mix well.

Add in curd and mix well.

Serve with biryani..


Pictorial:
Take all your ingredients
Take thick unsour homemade curd in a bowl
Take finely chopped onions in a bowl
add in some salt and sugar
add in some lemon juice
mix well using your hands, this will make the onions soft 
Let it rest for 5 mins
Add in tomatoes, green chillies and coriander leaves
add in curd
mix well
serve
