You only need a handful of simple ingredients to make these delicious balls. Since they require no cooking, they are perfect to make with kids at home.

    About No Cook Cornflakes Balls

Cornflakes nutella balls is a quick and easy sweet made with cornflakes, Nutella, raisins and tutti fruity.

These balls or ladoos have a delicious combination of crunchy texture with creamy chocolate and hazelnut flavour. The best part is that this is a no cook recipe, which can be made in just a few minutes.

First of all, I came across this recipe from my friend Sharmi's blog and loved how easy it was. I have made a few small changes by adding Nutella instead of jaggery for the binding. This addition made the ladoo even softer, richer and more kid friendly.

You can easily customize these ladoos with your favorite nuts such as cashews, almonds or walnuts. You can also add a little peanut butter, melted ghee or butter for extra taste and flavour.

These ladoos are perfect for kids parties, school snacks, no-cook competitions or simply as a quick homemade treat. They also make a delicious snack to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.

    Ingredients

    • Cornflakes : I used regular cornflakes as the main ingredient for these ladoos. It adds a lovely crunch and texture to the treat.
    • Nutella : Nutella gives the ladoo a rich chocolate and hazelnut flavour. You can use either homemade or store bought. It helps to bind the cornflakes and other ingredients together.
    • Raisins : I added raisins for a little sweetness and chewy texture. You can also swap or add nuts of your choice.
    • Tutti fruity : Tutti fruity is added to give a popup of color and mild sweetness to the ladoos.

    Step by Step Pictures

1)Add cornflakes in a blender and crush them slightly till it is ground.

2)No need to grind them too fine, slight coarse is fine too. Take the ground cornflakes in a bowl.

3)Now add in Nutella into the cornflakes mixture.

4)Add in raisins and tutti fruity.

5)Mix well using your hands till the mixture is combined.

6)Now take small portion and shape it into tight balls by pressing between your hands. Squeeze well to shape into balls.

7)If your mixture is too dry and looks crumbly when shaping, add more nutella and mix well. Then shape into balls.

8)Place the balls in fridge for few minutes until slightly set.

    9)Store in fridge and serve.

    Expert Tips

    • Don't crush the cornflakes into a fine powder. Just crush them slightly coarse using pulse mode.
    • Add Nutella little by little until the mixture comes together. Too much nutella can make the balls sticky.
    • Cashews, walnuts, almonds or peanuts can be added for extra crunch and flavour.
    • You can also substitute nutella with peanut butter if preferred.

    Storage and Serving

Store the cornflakes nutella balls in an airtight container. It stays well at room temperature for 1 to 2 days. For longer storage, refrigerate them for a week.

Serve these ladoos as an evening snack with coffee and milk. They are perfect for kids parties, school snacks or special occasions.

    FAQ

    Q. Why are my ladoos not holding their shape ?

If the mixture does not bind properly, add a little nutella, melted butter or ghee. Mix well and shape the ladoos once the mixture becomes soft enough to bind.

    Q. Can I add nuts ?

Absolutely ! You can add cashews, almonds, walnuts or a combination of your favorite nuts to make it extra crunchy and delicious.

    Q. Can I make these ladoos without nutella ?

Yes, you can use peanut butter or jaggery syrup as a binding agent. Add it little by little until the mixture comes together and is easy to shape into ladoos.
