Ladoos are so easy to make on any festival occasion, i have quite a few collections of them in my blog..My favourite ones are Maa ladoo, coconut ladoo, besan ladoo, dry fruits ladoo and many more..
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Makes : 15 ladoos
Ragi Flour / Finger Millet Flour – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup Powdered
Ghee – 3 tblspn
Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp
Cashews – 6 chopped finely
Method:
Take 2 tblspn ghee in a heavy bottom pan, add in chopped cashews and fry till golden. Drain and set aside.
Now in the remaining ghee add in ragi flour and keep sauteing till nice aroma comes from it. It will take around 7 to 10 mins.
Now add in powdered sugar and keep cooking on low flame till the sugar starts to melt.
Now add in another tblspn of ghee and mix well..At one stage it will get little wet and enough to hold into ladoo shape.
Now add in cardamom powder and cashews. Mix well. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool a bit.
Take a portion of mix and shape it into tight ladoo.
Store it in a air tight container for a week.
Notes:
1)The mixture should be like forming ladoos. If it is too dry add more ghee.

hi this laddu is very interesting can i make it wit jaggery or karupatti or nattusakarai
@yamunayes u can make
I always love making Ladoos from your blog. I tried this anxiously but it turned out to be a disaster! I couldn't make it into a ball. I had to throw everything away. I wonder what went wrong.
@Sara MJwhat was the issue..if it is too dry, then u have to add more ghee, if it is too wet, roast more ragi and add it
I prepared it in 10 mins. I added jaggery powder which does not melt and stick. I too find this issue. I add little water. It came out well in good taste and shape.
How long ladoos can be stored? Shd i store them in refrigerator?
U can keep on fridge for longer shelf life.
