    Coleslaw Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Cabbage ,Carrot and Mayonnaise. One of the most popular side dish all over America for summer BBQ. This is refreshing and light on the tummy as well.

    Coleslaw 

     

    Coleslaw is one dish which i wanted to share for quite a long time. It is a kind of cabbage and carrot salad with a wonderful creamy mayo dressing.So good on its own, but taste wonderful on the side of some burger, fried chicken or sandwiches.

    There are many version of coleslaw, will share each one of them. But this one is the very basic recipe. Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

    Ingredients for Summer Coleslaw Recipe

    • Cabbage - 4 cups shredded
    • Carrot - 2 cup grated
    • Spring Onions - 1 chopped finely
    • Mayonnaise - ¼ cup
    • Mustard Sauce - 2 tsp
    • White Wine Vinegar - 2 teaspoon or to taste
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - 2 tsp
    • Pepper to taste

    How to make Summer Coleslaw Recipe

    1. Mix mayo, salt, sugar, pepper, white wine vinegar and mustard in a bowl and mix well.
    2. Now take cabbage, carrot and spring onion in a bowl. Pour dressing over and toss well.
    3. Serve

    American Coleslaw Recipe step by step pictures

     
     
    Take all your ingredients
    Finely shred some cabbage
    grate some carrots
    chop up some spring onions
    take mayo in a bowl
    add in mustard sauce
    add a dash of white wine vinegar

    season with salt, pepper and sugar

    mix well till the sugar is melted
    now the sauce done
    add in cabbage
    carrots
    spring onions.
    toss gently
