Many of you asked me to share toddler recipes, so couple days back i tried few recipes and it turned out delicious.

This is a recipe which you can make in bulk and freeze. So you can make them whenever you need them.I called them as chicken bullets, because they are bullet shape. If you are a vegetarian, skip the chicken and add any veggies as you like, just chop them finely and use.

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 25 mins
Makes : 6 to 10

Ingredients:

Chicken – 1 cup cooked and shredded
Potato – 1 small boiled
Carrot – 1/4 cup grated
Garlic – 1 small clove chopped very finely
Coriander Leaves – 2 tblspn finely chopped
Oregano – 1/2 tsp
Chilli Flakes – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Breadcrumbs – 3 to 4 tblspn
All Purpose Flour – 2 tblspn+ 2 tblspn
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
Oil for Deep Frying

Method:

Take all the ingredients given until breadcrumbs in a bowl and mix well to form a soft dough.

Divide it into equal portions and shape into bullet shape.

Take 2 tblspn flour in a bowl, and 2 tblspn of flour in another bowl, add some water to one and make it into a thin paste. Now take breadcrumbs in a plate.

Take one ball and roll it in flour, dip it in flour paste and coat with breadcrumbs.

Now deep fry this till golden.

Drain and serve.

Pictorial:

I used chicken breast, take it in a sauce pan and
cover with water
cook for 10 to 12 mins till chicken is done
shred it
take boiled potato in a bowl
mash it roughly
add chicken in it
add carrot
add garlic
add coriander leaves
add in oregano
add in chilli flakes
add in salt
add in breadcrumbs
knead it to a dough
take small portion
shape it into a bullet shape
like this
take flour in a bowl
roll this in flour
once it is rolled
In another bowl, take flour and add water to make a smooth liquid
Now dip the rolled one in this
put it in a bowl of breadcrumbs..i am using panko
shake the bowl to coat
set aside..At this point you can freeze for later use or put it in fridge for 30 mins
fry in oil
fry till crispy
Serve
