    Dry Fruits Modak Recipe

    Ingredients
      

    FOR DOUGH:

    • Rice Flour - 1 cup
    • Water - 1 cup
    • Salt a pinch
    • Ghee - 1 tsp

    FOR FILLING:

    • Unsweetened Khoya - 1 cup
    • Jaggery - ½ cup
    • Coconut - ½ cup grated
    • Nuts and Dry Fruits - ½ cup chopped finely
    • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
    • Ghee - 1 tsp

    Instructions
     

    • Heat water in a sauce pan. Add salt and ghee. Add in rice flour and mix well to form a dough. Cool it completely and knead well.
    • Take khoya in a pan, stir and cook till it leaves the sides of the pan. Add in jaggery and coconut. Mix well. Set aside in a bowl.
    • Heat ghee in a pan, add nuts and fry till crispy. Add khoya mix in and stir well.
    • Take small portion from dough. flatten it and spoon filling inside. Seal it and shape it into a modak shape.
    • Steam for 8 to 10 mins.
    • Serve.
