Okay let me first talk about these cute little pops…I make these more often before, because whenever i bake a whole bunch of cakes and decorate it..I slice of some of the cake top part of sides for even decorating. So what i do is i freeze those cake scraps and use them to make these cute pops when needed.

Ingredients:
Any cake of your choice (around 4 cups of crumbled cake mix)
Any frosting of your choice (around 1 cup of frosting)
Milk or Dark Chocolate Chips – 2 cups
Vegetable Oil – 2 tblspn
Sprinkles as needed for decorating
( I used chocolate cake and chocolate frosting)
Method:
Take cake in a bowl and crumble it with your hands or fork.
Add in frosting and mix well. Knead gently to a soft mix.
Take small portion from the mix using a small icecream scoop of melon baller and shape it into a smooth round ball.
Arrange it in a parchment or foil lined plate and chill for an hour.
When the cake is cooling. Melt chocolate over a double boiler or in microwave. When melting it in double boiler, make sure the heat is medium and the bottom of the chocolate bowl doesn’t touch the water in the sauce pan. Stir inbetween gently.
Once the chocolate is melted, remove it from heat and stir gently it is completely melted. Add oil and mix well.
Now take lollipop stick and dip it lightly in the melted chocolate. Press it into the cooled balls and chill it for another 30 mins till set.
Now take the balls and coat it in the chocolate and arrange it in a upside turned colander. Before it is completely dry, sprinkle over some sprinkles.
Let it set in a cool place.
Store in a air tight container.
Notes:
1)Never add too much frosting to the cake. Else you wont get the right texture.
2)Always cool the cake completely before crumbling. Chill the cake for few hours for easy crumbling.
3)If you can get your hands on candy melts use them. They are so easy.
4)Buttercream frosting works best in this.
