Preparation Time : 15 mins
Rising Time : 2 hour
Makes : 12 to 15 buns

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour / Maida – 2 cups + more
Sugar – 1/3 cup
Milk – 1 cup or as needed
Dry Yeast – 2 tsp
Egg – 1
Unsalted Butter – 1/4 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Hard Boiled Eggs – 3

(MY 1 CUP MEASURES 240 ML)

Method:

Take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

Take yeast in a bowl and add little milk over it and mix well. Set aside for 5 mins. Now it will be all activated.

Take milk, sugar in a sauce pan and heat it..Mix till sugar is melted. Now remove it from heat and add in butter and mix well. Leave it to melt down. Now leave the mix aside so it cools down.. Touch and see whether the temp of the milk is luke warm. It has to be very warm, if it is hot then the yeast will die.

Now add in the yeast mix and egg in..whisk well. Here is a tip, when adding egg, dont add completely, Crack the egg in a bowl, whisk it well and pour most of the egg in but reserve a tblspn of egg for egg wash.

Now pour this over the flour and mix to a sticky dough.

Now cover the dough with a plate and let it rise on a warm spot for 1 hour or till it is doubled in size.

Now add more flour and knead well. Now divide it into three equal portions. take one ball and divide it into two ball..roll it into a smooth ball.

Boil some eggs for 6 to 8 mins. Drain and set aside.

Now roll take ball into a log like, and twist it so it is twisted and then press it together so it is sealed.

Arrange this in a parchment lined baking sheet and cover it again and let it rise for 30 mins or so.Now place egg in the center.

In the last 10 min of rising, preheat oven to 180 degree C…Brush the buns with reserved egg and sprinkle with sprinkles.

Now bake this for 20 to 25 mins till golden.Remove it and let it cool for 5 mins, remove it to a wire rack and cool it completely.
