Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread
Such a lovely cake this is, i would call this as bread rather than a cake. Because it is a little dense like a banana bread but with a moist and soft texture. I really love adding zucchini to baked items because it makes the stuff really healthy and adds a nice moist texture to it. Actually you wont taste or smell zucchini in this recipe, it rather acts as a moist ingredients and melts into the bread.
I love these kind of simple bread recipes a lot and bake these quite a lot. Because i love having a slice of this with my cup of coffee, green tea or a cup of milk..

Ingredients for Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread
- All Purpose Flour / Maida - ¾ cup / 90 grams
- Whole Wheat Flour / Atta - ¾ cup / 90 grams
- Brown Sugar - ¾ cup / 150 grams
- Salt - ¼ tsp
- Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
- Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 2 tsp
- Zucchini - ¾ cup grated
- Raisans or any dried fruits - ½ cup
- Egg - 1
- Milk - ¾ cup / 180 ml
- Oil - ¼ cup / 60 ml
- Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)
How to make Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread
- Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and grease it well with oil. Set aside.
- Take wheat flour, flour, brown sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon powder in a bowl and whisk well
- Add the remaining ingredients and give a gentle mix. Dont over mix the batter.
- Spoon this in loaf pan and bake for 55 mins to 60 mins.
- Remove it from oven and cool it for 10 mins in pan and remove it from pan and cool it completely.
- Slice and serve.
