    Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with All Purpose Flour ,Zucchini and Brown Sugar.

     

    Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

    Such a lovely cake this is, i would call this as bread rather than a cake. Because it is a little dense like a banana bread but with a moist and soft texture. I really love adding zucchini to baked items because it makes the stuff really healthy and adds a nice moist texture to it. Actually you wont taste or smell zucchini in this recipe, it rather acts as a moist ingredients and melts into the bread.

    I love these kind of simple bread recipes a lot and bake these quite a lot. Because i love having a slice of this with my cup of coffee, green tea or a cup of milk..

    I added dried fruits in this but you can use any nuts in this to make this bread. I will be sharing a very tasty banana bread recipe soon which i made recently.

     

    Ingredients for Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - ¾ cup / 90 grams
    • Whole Wheat Flour / Atta - ¾ cup / 90 grams
    • Brown Sugar - ¾ cup / 150 grams
    • Salt - ¼ tsp
    • Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
    • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 2 tsp
    • Zucchini - ¾ cup grated
    • Raisans or any dried fruits - ½ cup
    • Egg - 1
    • Milk - ¾ cup / 180 ml
    • Oil - ¼ cup / 60 ml
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

    (My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

    How to make Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and grease it well with oil. Set aside.
    2. Take wheat flour, flour, brown sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon powder in a bowl and whisk well
    3. Add the remaining ingredients and give a gentle mix. Dont over mix the batter.
    4. Spoon this in loaf pan and bake for 55 mins to 60 mins.
    5. Remove it from oven and cool it for 10 mins in pan and remove it from pan and cool it completely.
    6. Slice and serve.

    • 1 Egg

    Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread Recipe step by step picture

     
    Take your zucchini
    grate it and set aside
    measure your other ingredients
    Take wheat flour in a bowl
    add in all purpose flour / maida
    add in salt, baking soda and cinnamon
    brown sugar
    mix well
    add in dried fruits, i used tutti fruity
    add in grated zucchini
    egg
    add in vanilla
    add in oil
    milk
    mix gently
    now it is done
    line a loaf pan with parchment paper and grease it with oil
    spoon the batter in and bake
    remove it from oven and let it cool
    slice and serve
