These macaroons needs just 4 ingredients and is so easy. Plus it is eggless. Condensed milk acts as a egg substitute for these macaroons.. I will share the egg version of the macaroon recipe soon..

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 15 to 20 mins
Makes : 9 to 10 cookies

Ingredients:

Desiccated Coconut – 1.5 cup
Sweetened Condensed Milk – 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence – 1/2 tsp
Glazed Cherries cut in half as needed

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

Now take coconut, condensed milk and vanilla in a bowl and mix well.

Now take small portions of it and roll it into a ball. Flatten it and place a cherry half in the center and press it gently.

Now arrange it in the baking tray and bake for 15 to 20 mins till golden.

Remove this and cool this down.

Store this in a air tight container.

Hi Aarthi, I tried the coconut eggless macaroon but they didn't turn out crisp like in your pic. Or are they supposed to be like that only? The taste was good. Planning to make these for Diwali gifting, hence would appreciate your early response

Hi. I recently tried your recipe for Eggless Coconut Macroons. Though they are tasty, I want to know why they did not become crispy (firm). I baked them for 20 mins. They began to burn but the centre was still tasting raw. Can you help?
