    Eggless Coconut Macaroons Recipe

    If you are in a hurry, worried that you dont have time to make anything for this christmas, don't you worry..I am giving you a delicious and spectacular looking macaroon or cookies made with coconut which takes under 30 mins to make.

    These macaroons needs just 4 ingredients and is so easy. Plus it is eggless. Condensed milk acts as a egg substitute for these macaroons.. I will share the egg version of the macaroon recipe soon..

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Baking Time : 15 to 20 mins
    Makes : 9 to 10 cookies


    Ingredients:

    Desiccated Coconut - 1.5 cup
    Sweetened Condensed Milk - ½ cup
    Vanilla Essence - ½ tsp
    Glazed Cherries cut in half as needed

    Method:

    Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

    Now take coconut, condensed milk and vanilla in a bowl and mix well.

    Now take small portions of it and roll it into a ball. Flatten it and place a cherry half in the center and press it gently.

    Now arrange it in the baking tray and bake for 15 to 20 mins till golden.

    Remove this and cool this down. 

    Store this in a air tight container.

    place a cherry in the center

    arrange it in the tray

    Place cherry on each one

    Bake till golden..It will take around 15 to 20 mins

    It is not a crispy kind of macaroon, it is soft and chewy
     and totally delicious

    Enjoy immediately or cool it and store it in a air tight jar

      Can v use fresh grated coconut, instead of dessicated?

      @Shokhi 3Each oven will vary, so try cooking is less next time. keep a close eye as soon as it turns golden remove it.

      Hi Aarthi, I tried the coconut eggless macaroon but they didn't turn out crisp like in your pic. Or are they supposed to be like that only? The taste was good. Planning to make these for Diwali gifting, hence would appreciate your early response

      Hi. I recently tried your recipe for Eggless Coconut Macroons. Though they are tasty, I want to know why they did not become crispy (firm). I baked them for 20 mins. They began to burn but the centre was still tasting raw. Can you help?
