    Rusk is a recipe which uses stale bread or cake to create a crisp biscuit like which is perfect to dunk in a cup of coffee or tea.

    Rusk Recipe

    If you have some leftover cakes which have got hard or dry, then this is a great recipe to use it up. You can use any cake in this recipe, except the cakes with cream. This rusk stays good in a air tight container for more than 10 days. It taste great when had with tea or coffee.

    How to Make Rusk

    You can use Leftover Cakes or bread for making this. It is a perfect recipe to use leftover cakes or bread.

    • Preheat oven to 160 degree C.
    • Slice leftover cake into strips and it is thick, cut it in 2 cm thickness.
    • Arrange it in a baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 mins till it crisp up.
    • Remove it and cool it down. Store it in a air tight container for more than a week.
