    Lemon Granita Recipe / Italian Lemon Granita Recipe

    Granita is my favourite..Specially this one..It is sweet, tangy, cool and very very refreshing..

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Chilling Time : 8 Hours
    Serves : 4 to 5

    Ingredients:
    Sugar - 1 cup
    Water - 2 cup
    Lemon Juice - ¼ cup
    Lemon Zest - ½ tsp

    Method:
    Take Sugar, water in a sauce pan and heat till it is melted.
    Pour it into a bowl and let it cool a bit.
    Now add in lemon juice and zest.
    Mix well. Pour it in a big bowl, Cover and freeze overnight.

    Next day take it out and scrape it using a spoon or fork.

    Freeze again till you serve..

    Scoop and serve.

    Just grate the lemon part alone, dont grate the white part,
     it will be bitter..

    Time to squeeze the juice from them

    I got around ¼ cup of lemon juice

    give a good mix

     Freeze Overnight

     Now it is all frozen
