Hai Guys..Hope you all remember about the stall which I told you the other day..Everything went fine and our foods all got over, which is pretty good…..Will post pictures tomorrow….

Today’s recipe is a diet food…If you are in diet this is the main food that will be in your list…This is a oil free soft roti that goes perfectly well with any curry or subzis… Hope you all will give this a try and let me know what you think..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Resting Time : 30 mins
Cooking Time : 45 sec to 1 min per roti
Serves : 3 to 4

Ingrediants:

Wheat Flour / Atta -2 cup
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tsp
Water as required
Method:
In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, salt, oil and mix well.
Add in water and make a smooth dough.Apply a tsp of oil and knead it for 2-3 min.
Cover it let it rest for 20-30 min.Divide the dough into equal portions.
Roll each balls into roti.
Heat a tawa to a high heat..Put the roti on the tawa and cook on one side till the top appears dry to touch and not doughy.
Turn it over and cook on other side for some more seconds.

Now put the upper side of the cooking chapati over direct flame, the roti will puff up like a ballon.Turn it on the other side and toast it on burning flame till done.
Remove this and place it in insulated container.
Serve hot by drizzling some butter or ghee on top with any curry.

Pictorial:
Take your ingrediants in a mixing bowl
pour in water
make it into a dough
Divide it into equal portions
take a ball and dust it with flour..
roll it out..
put it on hot tawa
cook on other side too…
Now put the top side on direct flame…it will puff up like a balloon..
cook on other side too
Serve

Beautiful looking flatbread, nice instructional photos as well. One question please: I have an electric glass-top range, do you have to puff them up? If so, should I put them on the stove over the element?
    Thank You.

I guess you may want to add a twitter icon to your website. I just marked down the blog, although I had to complete this by hand. Simply my suggestion.
