This is one recipe which i made couple of weeks back and served it with roti, it turned out so good..I have another version of sweet and sour chicken which i will share soon. This is a much healthy version and tasty version.

Serves : 2
Ingredients:
Chicken Legs – 3
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 3 tblspn
Oil – 2 to 3 tblspn
Garlic – 1 tblspn finely chopped
Water as needed
Spring Onion – a small handful finely chopped
For Sauce:
Pineapple Juice or Puree – 1 cup
Tomato ketchup – 1/2 cup
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp or to taste
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1 tblspn
Soy Sauce – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Method:
Mix all the ingredients for sauce and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, dredge the chicken with flour and sear it in hot oil for 3 to 5 mins per side, remove to a plate.
Now in the same pan, add in garlic and saute for a min.
Add in the sauce ingredients and mix well.
Add in little water and mix well.
Drop in the chicken and coat with the sauce. Cover and simmer the pan for 25 to 30 mins.
Add in spring onions and mix well.
Serve.

add in salt, sugar and chilli powder |
add in soy sauce |
add in vinegar |
mix well and set aside |
take flour in a bowl |
dip chicken in this |
coat it on all sides |
fry this in little oil |
cook for 5 mins on each side |
remove to a plate |
add garlic in the pan |
fry for few mins |
add in the sauce |
mix well |
add little water |
mix well |
place the chicken in |
spoon the sauce over |
cover and simmer for 25 to 30 mins..Stir inbetween |
now the chicken is cooked |
sprinkle with spring onions |
serve |
What is the substitute for pineapple juice?
@Anonymousnot sure about that..may be you can add little water and add little more sugar and vinegar
