    Veg Mayo Sandwich

    This is a simple yet healthy sandwich to put together. Yes i said it is healthy because the mayo which i used here is eggless mayo so it is healthy than the sandwich which you make using regular mayo

    I made this for lunch and enjoyed it with a cup of green tea. It was perfect. 

    Ingredients for Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe (Veg Mayo Sandwich Recipe)

    • Brown Bread Slices - 10
    • Cabbage - 1 cup finely chopped
    • Carrot - ½ cup grated
    • Capsicum - ½ cup chopped finely
    • Spring Onion - 2 chopped finely
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • Sugar - ½ tsp
    • Lemon Juice - 2 tsp
    • Eggless Mayonnaise - ½ cup

    How to make Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe (Veg Mayo Sandwich Recipe)

    1. Take all the ingredients except bread in a bowl and mix well.
    2. Toast your bread slices in toaster or in a tawa. Spoon some of the filling in and cut into diagnols.
    3. Serve.

    chop your cabbage
    Pin
    take it in a blender
    Pin
    run it for few seconds so it is finely chopped

    Remove it to a bowl

    take your carrots
    Pin
    grate them as well

    add it to the bowl

    Take some juicy bell pepper

    cut them into thin strips

    chop them finely

    add it into the bowl

    now take your spring onions

    Now add in some sugar

    and some pepper powder

    I added some lemon juice

    toss it well...Let this sit for 5 mins

    Pop them into the toaster

    toast till they are crisp

    Remove it to a plate

      I just love ur blog. I am soo happy and excited for all the efforts u have been taking to make this. U have touched many lives and encouraged aloota woman who saw cooking as rocket science.
      I am truely inspired.
      Soo.. Just wanted to share what I did for my veg n Mayo sandwich sometime back. I marinated boiled potatos(cut in small cubes) and cumubers(cut in small cubes) into n the Mayo with very lil salt and crushed pepper,over night in the fridge and spreaded it next day on white bread. It was fantastic.
      I am defly going to try your version of veg Mayo sandwich very soon.

      @Kefeh Perryyou can add chilli powder to mayo and make it spicy. But you cannot replace it

      I just read your recipe. It looks just great. Can you please specify the days mixture can be stored. I am looking for a healthy sandwich recipe which can be stored for atleast 3 days in refrigerator. But for now this recipe is going to my Tummy. Thank you.

      It was a GREAT recipe, but just in the pictorial, u accidently wrote 'toasted' instead of 'toaster'...... :)-
