I have already told you that me and hubby have been living on sandwiches for the past month. So i have been creating varieties of them daily. This is one sandwich which i made couple days back and i loved it to the core.

Ingredients for Grilled Vegetable Masala Sandwich
- Oil - 1 tblspn + more for frying sandwich
- Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1 medium size chopped finely
- Green Chilli - 1 chopped finely
- Chinese Cabbage or normal cabbage - 1 cup chopped finely
- Beans - 6 chopped finely
- Carrot - 1 chopped finely
- Capsicum - ½ chopped finely
- Salt to taste
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder / Malli Podi - 1 tblspn
- Turmeric Powder / Manjal POdi - ½ tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
- Tomato Ketchup - 3 tblspn
- Coriander Leaves - 3 tblspn finely chopped
- Lemon Juice to taste
- Bread Slices - 9
How to Make Grilled Vegetable Masala Sandwich
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add fennel and saute for 30 sec.
- Add in onions, green chilli and saute for a min.
- Add in cabbage, beans, carrots and salt. Saute till it is cooked.
- Now add in capsicum and mix well.
- Add in all masala powder and give a toss.
- Now add in ketchup and mix well.
- Add in coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix. Filling done.
- Take three bread, spread this between each slice and cover with other.
- Place this in a oiled grill pan and drizzle some oil over top.
- Cover and cook till it is crisp and golden.
- Cut into triangles and serve.
