மாங்காய் கோஸ் / Instant Mango Pickle Recipe / Mango Raita - Side dish for Curd Rice

I made this for the festive thali for blogging marathon. This is my favorite one with curd rice.. love it all time..Amma makes this often, but she won’t sauté the mango, but I love it to be sauted. This is so cooling and can be had on its own too..

I make this pickle more often. Somedays i dont add curd, sometimes i increase the sugar level and spice level, so it taste like sweet and spicy. Totally yummy. All the ingredients is to taste you can adjust it to your taste.

I hope you will love it and let me know what you think..

Hi, I'm bookmarking this because it looks and sounds so good. Two questions: is curd yogurt or something more like ricotta? Also, I can't get curry leaves here - would a pinch of curry powder be a good thing to do? If you can, please reply to me at scrout1944@msn.com.
Thanks

Looks yummy, never mixed curd at the end..

Looks yum, never added curd in that mango. Let me try.

@StephenCThanks for your comment..Curd is Yogurt, it is not ricotta or something like that. Use yogurt.

If you can't get curry leaves , just skip that..Don't use curry powder because curry powder is entirely different one.
