Check out my Wheat, Moongdal & Almond Powder Recipe. This recipe gives you a idea about how to make porridge out of it. Maha loves sweet porridge, you can make this salty too. Will share that recipe soon. This is so filling and healthy since it has all good stuff in it. This porridge will be a different food from the usual ragi porridge or banana porridge.
Few things you have to remember before making this.
1)The consistency of the porridge which you make totally depends on you. You can make it too runnier and pour it bottles and feed your baby or make it little thicker and feed your baby using a spoon.
2) I use panakarkandu or karupatti as sweetner. Karupatti strengthens your baby bones. Panakarkandu helps prevending cold for your babies.You can even mix up a small piece of both.
3)If you feed a good bowl of this for your baby. Your baby will sleep peacefully for a good 2 to 3 hours. It is that filling.
4)This wont cause constipation in babies. I am feeding this every alternate days to maha and she is passing stool daily.

How to sterilize baby feeding bowls:
Start by sterilizing the bowls and spoons which you are going to feed your baby. Take the bowl and spoon in a large saucepan, cover it with water and bring them to a boil. Boil it rapidly for 5 mins. Now you can turn the heat off and leave them stay in the hot water till use.
How to make Wheat, Moong Dal & Almond Health Powder:
CHECK WHEAT HEALTH POWDER RECIPE FIRST
Take a clean saucepan, add in 2 tblspn of karupatti / Jaggery / Palm Sugar. Now pour in 3/4 cup of clean water. Heat this up and cook untill the karupatti is melted.
Now take a clean bowl and add 2 scoops of Wheat Health Powder. Add some clean water and mix it up till smooth.
Now place a fine mesh strainer over the bowl and Sieve the karupatti liquid through this. Mix this well.
I washed the saucepan in the meantime. Now pour this liquid again in the saucepan.
Heat this on a low flame stiring continously. Cook this for around 8 mins till the dal and wheat is cooked and thicken.
Take it off the heat, allow it to cool down and transfer it to feeding bowl or feeding bottle and feed your baby.

|Add some water in that|
|Mix it up|
|Take karupatti in a sauce pan|
|Add water in it|
|Put it on stove and heat it|
|Now it is all dissolved|
|Place a strainer over the bowl.|
|Mix it up|
|Pour it back into the sauce pan|
|Cook for 7 to 8 mins till the porridge is cooked|
|It will get thick|
|Let it cook then feed your baby|
