Soya Chunks Pepper Gravy Recipe - Meal Maker & Pepper Curry Recipe

Soya Chunks can be a perfect vegetarian protein rich food. It is highly recommended for vegetarians. I have started including it in our diet as it can be a meat substitute. This taste so delicious as well. Hope you will try this out and let me know how it turns out for you..

Serves : 3 to 4


Soya Chunks / Meal Maker - 2 cups cooked (Recipe here)
Oil - 2 tblspn
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp finely chopped
Garlic - 1 tsp finely chopped
Curry leaves a spring
Onions - 1 medium size sliced thinly
Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
Tomatoes - 1 sliced thinly
Bell Pepper / Capsicum - 1/2 sliced thinly
Soy Sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 3 tblspn
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tblspn finely chopped
Water as needed
Salt to taste


Heat oil in a pan. Add in ginger, garlic and curry leaves. Saute for a min.

Add in onions, chillies and saute till golden. Add in salt and mix well.

Add in tomatoes and capsicum. Saute for few mins.

Now add in ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar and mix well. Add in little water and bring it to a boil.

Add in soya chunks and mix well.

Add in garam masala powder and pepper powder. Toss well and simmer for 5 to 10 mins.

Add in coriander leaves and mix well.

add in onions and chillies

toss well

now it is golden

add little salt

mix well

add in capsicum and tomatoes

mix well

now add in ketchup

little soya sauce

add in vinegar

mix well

add little water

bring it to a boil

add in soya chunks

toss well

add in garam masala powder

add in some pepper

toss well

add in coriander leaves

toss well
