    I always wanted try a buttery, soft cookies which looks flat and has cracks on top. Finally i found the recipe. I made it a sprinkle cookies too using the same dough..Will share that soon.

    These cookies are not crispy ones or hard ones. They are soft and kind of cakey. It turned out so buttery and yummy. The crunchy sugary topping tasted so good along with the soft buttery soft cookies.

    Ingredients for Eggless Sugar Cookies

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup / 120 grams
    • Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams powdered
    • Soft Unsalted Butter - 100 grams
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
    • Baking Powder - 1.5 tsp
    • Salt - a pinch
    • Milk - 2 tbsp
    • Sugar - ¼ cup
    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 3 to 4 tbsp
    • (My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

    How to make Eggless Sugar Cookies

    1. Preheat oven to 170 degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
    2. Take 1 cup flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
    3. Take butter, powdered sugar, vanilla in a bowl. Use a whisk to whip till creamy.
    4. Add in milk and mix well.
    5. Add in the flour mix in and fold gently.
    6. Now the dough will be little sticky, add in a tblspn of flour at a time in and mix well, the dough will be super soft and easy to work with. I used around 4 tblspn of flour. So add accordingly.
    7. Take sugar in a bowl
    8. Now take small ball from it, roll it, Dip it sugar, flatten it and arrange it in the tray.
    9. Arrange it leaving spaces between each cookie, because it will spread a lot.
    10. Now bake this for 10 to 15 mins. Mine took 15 mins.
    11. Remove it and let it cool for 15 mins in the tray.
    12. Remove it carefully and arrange it in a cooling rack. Cool it completely.
    13. Store it in a air tight container.
    14. Enjoy

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup All Purpose Flour 120 grams

    Eggless Sugar Cookies Recipe step by step pictures 

     
    Take all your ingredients
    line a baking tray with parchment paper
    Take sugar in a blender
    powder it finely
    Take it in a bowl
    add in baking powder
    add little salt
    mix well
    Take butter it in a bowl
    add in sugar
    add in vanilla
    use a whisk to whip till creamy
    now it is whipped well
    add in milk
    mix well
    add in flour mix in
    fold well
    you can see the dough is too sticky
    add a tblspn of flour at a time
    mix well
    i added little more flour in
    now the dough is done

     

    Take a small portion of dough

    Roll it smoothly

     

    Take some granulated sugar in a bowl
    Dip the balls in
    Press lightly so the sugar sticks to the dough
    Now it is all coated
    Arrange it in the baking tray
    Bake till done

    Remove it and serve
