    About Kulukki Sarbath

Kulukki Sarbath is a pleasant summer drink from Kerala. The word sharbat comes from the Persian word sharbat, which means sugar and water drink. This was derived from the Arabic term shariba, which means to drink.

Sarbaths are made with a variety of fruits and flowers, as well as ice. Salty, sweet, tangy, or spicy flavours are all possibilities. Sarbaths are made in different parts of the world depending on the seasonal fruit, flower, or herb available. The Mughals brought Sarbath to India in the 16th century. Babur, who ordered for frequent quantities of ice from the Himalayas to make a cool pleasant drink, popularised it in the Indian subcontinent.
