Andhra Kodi Roast / Chicken Roast with Red Chilli Sauce

Happy Saturday Guys…I was totally overwhelmed because of Diwali and I need some clearing up for my body..I was eating a lot this week..Lots and lots of sweets and fried foods that you could imagine..
I definitely need a detoxification this weekend..I have planned to have liquid foods today…Something like juices and soups…I think that might help..What is your way of detoxification?

Back to Recipe..Believe it or not.when I came across this recipe, I started drooling and I wanted to make this recipe soon…This dish has its wonderful glaze from the chilli sauce which we add at the end which gives a lovely taste as well.
I am sending this recipe to Blogging Marathan Day 7 in the theme Regional Special…I am doing Andhra Recipe for this whole week..So hope you love it..

Ingrediants:
Chicken- ½ kg
Onion-2 large chopped finely
Tomatoes-4 chopped finely
Green chillies-3 sliced
Ginger Garlic Paste-2 tblspn
Turmeric powder / Manjal podi-1 tsp
Coriander powder / Malli podi-1 tblspn
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Red chilli sauce or Green Chilli Sauce-3 tblspn
Salt to taste
Oil-3 tblspn
Curry leaves-1 spring
Cilantro / Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Heat oil in a kadai..Add in onions and fry till golden..Add in curry leaves and green chillies ..Fry this for few minutes.
Now add in ginger garlic paste and mix well..
Add in tomatoes and mix well..Season with salt..
Add in turmeric powder and mix well..
Now add in chicken pieces and mix well..Sear on all sides.Cook this with open lid for 15 minutes on a low flame..
Now add in chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well..
Cook this for 15 mins..Now pour in chilli sauce and mix well..
Garnish with cilantro and curry leaves..

Take all your ingrediants
Prepare Everything
Saute onions in oil
add in curry leaves
add in green chillies too
add some ginger and garlic paste
mix well
now add in tomatoes
season with salt
and turmeric powder
saute for few minutes
add in chicken
Cook for 10 mins…
Add in coriander powder
Chilli powder
and toss well
cook for 10 more minutes
now take your magic ingrediant
pour some in
toss well
garnish with cilantro and curry leaves
Taste best with rice…

    I love Indian non veg recipes. Especially Andhra chicken curry recipe. This is best combination for Jonna rotte recipe i think so. Thanks for sharing. Best platform for learners who are trying to learn how to cook it.even you can try mutton biriyani also.
