Apple sauce muffins is a recipe which was in my mind for quite a long time. Finally i made it few days back and it was delicious. It tasted so healthy and filling, it has full of apple and cinnamon flavour.

Banana Cinnamon Muffins
Banana Cornflakes Muffins
Citrus Mango Muffins
Banana Chocolate Muffins
Eggless Banana Nuts Muffins
Eggless Banana Oats & Dates Muffins
Oats Bran Muffins

These muffins had the perfect crunchy top and moist and fluffy interior. Loved it, so much. Instead of apple you can use banana muffins as well..Will soon share different muffin recipes..
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 18 to 20 mins
Makes : 6 muffins

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 cup / 120 grams
Sugar – 1/2 cup / 100 grams
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Yogurt / Curd – 1/2 cup / 120 ml
Apple – 1 medium size or 1/2 cup of apple puree
Oil – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
Demerara Sugar – 2 tblspn for topping over muffins

(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C.

Oil a silicon muffin tray lightly or line a muffin tray with cupcake cases.

Take flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, in a bowl. Mix well.

Add in oil, curd, apple puree and fold gently.

Use a icecream scoop to scoop the batter and fill the muffin tray.

Bake this for 18 to 20 mins or untill a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Remove it from oven and let it cool before removing from tray.

Tasted best when served warm.

Pictorial:

chop them roughly
take them in a blender

Now take flour in a bowl
add little salt and cinnamon powder
add in sugar, you can use brown sugar
add in little baking powder
Mix well
add in apple puree
some oil
and some yogurt
now time to mix this up
fold gently
use a icecream scoop to scoop it
scoop it into the mould
take some demarara sugar

@appuit depends on each recipe dear..for cakes the texture should be little thin but not too thin. for muffin and bread it has to be thick.
