    Badam Kheer Recipe

    Badam kheer with step by step pictures. Almond kheer made with almonds, milk and saffron which makes perfect dessert.

    This is similar to our badam milk, it is not only easy to make but taste very delicious. It is made with almonds and milk and it is very yummy. Taste yummy when served cold.

    Ingredients for Badam Kheer

    Almonds / Badam - ½ cup
    Sugar - ½ cup
    Milk - 2 cups
    Ghee - 2 tsp
    Saffron a pinch
    Cardamom Powder - ¼ tsp 
    Cashews, Pistachios - ¼ cup chopped finely

    How to Make Badam Kheer

    1. Soak badam in hot water for 15 mins, peel off the skin and take it in a blender. Add little milk and make it into a smooth puree.
    2. Heat ghee in a nonstick pan, add the puree and cook till it thickens.
    3. Add sugar and mix well.
    4. Add in milk and mix well. Bring it to a boil and simmer for 15 mins.
    5. Now add in saffron, cardamom and nuts. Mix well.
    6. Serve cold.
