    Chocolate Coconut Ladoos

I have made coconut ladoos before, it is made with desicated coconut and condensed milk. I wanted to share a coconut ladoo which is made with fresh coconut and sugar. So for this diwali i decided to make a chocolate coconut ladoo. I made this just yesterday and it was super yummy.

    Ingredients for Chocolate Coconut Ladoos

    • Fresh Coconut - 1 cup grated
    • Sugar - ½ cup
    • Milk - 2 tbsp
    • Butter or Ghee - 2 tbsp
    • Nuts - ¼ cup (almonds, cashews, pista, chiroli)
    • Dark Chocolate - 100 grams chopped finely

The ladoos has dark chocolate in them instead of cocoa powder which makes it set and makes it taste yummy. I added dark chocolate since i added little more sugar to balance all the bitterness from chocolate. If you want to use milk or normal chocolate then reduce the sugar level. Also don't add chocolate when the pan is on heat, take it off the heat and the residual heat from the coconut and sugar will melt the chocolate.
