    Besan Ladoo Recipe

Besan ladoo is one of the popular recipe. It taste so delicious and nutty, you will love this sweet for sure. Gram flour has a tendency to give melt in mouth texture to the ladoos. So you will love this melting sweet a lot.

Delicious besan ladoo is loved by everyone because of the nutty aroma and the melt in mouth texture. besan ladoo is a combination of gram flour, sugar and ghee which gives the unique charm to this ladoo.

Besan ladoo is not only made during diwali, it is specially made on ganesh chaturthi as well. Along with this urad dal ladoo, maladu and boondi ladoo can be made as well.

You can also make more popular diwali sweets like milk cake, gulab jamun, kaju katli. This ladoo is so easy to make, but taste so healthy and yummy. I love the colour which was in the ladoo without adding any food colouring. Love those crunchy bits of cashew in between these ladoos. I hope you will try it this diwali and let me know how it turned out.

A simple and quick ladoo recipe which can be made in just 3 mins. That too with simple ingredients. These ladoos are so perfect and can be made in just 3 mins. It can be made from start to finish in under 10 mins, this includes shaping ladoos too. These ladoos just melt in your mouth and I loved this more than traditional ladoos.

When you say 'powdered sugar' do you mean 'icing sugar' the finely ground white sugar which usually has cornstarch in it?

      Reply
    9. Aarthi

      at

@a-boleynNo it is normal sugar which has been powdered

@AnonymousMay be you must have added too much ghee. Roast more gram flour and add it in, add more sugar if needed.

I tried to make besan laddoo following Manjula aunty's recipe. After the stirring of besan , I cooled it down and added powdered sugar which made it really grainy because the sugar didnt melt. I tried to heat the mixture again so that sugar melts but it didnt work and was spoiled. How can I avoid this problem ? I really want to make it but I fear that this may happen again.
