Spread the Joy!
Hai Guys..Hope
everyone had a busy weekend, preparing for diwali..I was having a busy one too.
Actually I felt so lazy to making sweets at home alone, so I went to my mum’s
place and cooked along with her. We made muruku, mysorepak, gulab jumun, kaju
katli, besan ladoo..It was awesome cooking together with my mum and sisters. I
spend the whole day there and came home late..

Now back to the
recipe..The cool thing about this ladoo is, it is so easy to make, but taste so
healthy and yummy. I love the colour which was in the ladoo without adding any
food colouring. I love those crunchy bits of cashew inbetween these ladoos..I hope
you will try it this diwali and let me know how it turned out.

Ooooh! I love this time of year ๐ So many of my bloggy friends do Diwali recipes and they always look so delicious. These are no exception! YUMMY!
for how many days can we store these ladoos
I had these once at a local Indian restaurant and absolutely fell in love with them. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful recipe!
@sharonYou can store this for about a week
When you say 'powdered sugar' do you mean 'icing sugar' the finely ground white sugar which usually has cornstarch in it?
@a-boleynNo it is normal sugar which has been powdered
Hello,
I tried to make the ladoo's and I don't know what went wrong but the batter became very watery instead of being powdered like yours. Please help.
@AnonymousMay be you must have added too much ghee. Roast more gram flour and add it in, add more sugar if needed.
Looks very yummy how to powder the sugar ?? Or can use castor sugar instead ??
@Babe KaurJust take granulated sugar and powder it in blender. You can use castor sugar instead
Do you use regular besan or do you need a diff variety?
Do we need to add semolina? And the gram flour used , should it be coarse or the store bought usual nice flour is enough?
@Kamala Anandyes it gives nice texture…u can use normal flour
@AnonymousRegular besan is good
I just made this all went good except when making round my ladoo breaks should I add ghee
Thank you very much all your recipes are wonderful and really taste yummy yummy
@Yasmin Azadyes u have to add ghee
Can we use oil instead of ghee?
@Anonymousghee is what gives flavour to the ladoos
Awsome receipe…Can you please share Moong Dal ladoo receipe as this is healthy for kids and easy to digest
I tried to make besan laddoo following Manjula aunty's recipe. After the stirring of besan , I cooled it down and added powdered sugar which made it really grainy because the sugar didnt melt. I tried to heat the mixture again so that sugar melts but it didnt work and was spoiled. How can I avoid this problem ? I really want to make it but I fear that this may happen again.
@Anamuse finely powdered sugar to it..or follow this method/https://www.yummytummyaarthi.com/2014/08/microwave-besan-ladoo-recipe-3-mins.html
