Ice cream is everyones favourite. Sometimes you crave for ice cream but you feel little guilty when you eat them..I know i feel like that very often. Hence this recipe was created. I have shared so many basic flavours of ice cream in my blog. Now i have jumped into to create some unusual and exotic flavours. This is the first one. I also have a special fig ice cream coming up, just a sneak peak it is a caramelized version. YUM YUM..

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Freezing Time : 6 to 8 hours
Serves : 6 to 8
Source: Vegrecipesofindia

Ingredients:

Custard Apple – 8 to 10 ( 2 cups of pulp)
Marie Biscuit – 7 to 8
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup

Method:

Take all the ingredients in a blender and make it into a smooth puree.

Pour it in a freezer safe container and freeze for 5 to 6 hours or till frozen.

If you want creamy icecream, once it is freezed for 3 hours, take it in a blender and puree till frothy and creamy and pour it back in the container and freeze for 2 more hours.

Now repeat this for 2 more times, this way your icecream will be more creamy.

But you can just skip that step and serve it just like that too.

For easy scooping, dip the scoop in hot water for few seconds and scoop the icecream.

Pictorial:
You need ripe custard apple..I used two varieties
this is a imported custard apple, it has less seeds..
first cut it open and remove the seeds
scoop the flesh into a bowl
this is normal variety..cut it open
remove the flesh into a blender
pulse it few times, this way the seeds gets separated from the flesh
remove the seeds
this is the pulp
take it in a bowl
add sugar
add some marie biscuits. you can use any biscuits too
break them in
add in milk
puree till smooth
pour it in a freezer container
freeze for couple of hours
now take it in a blender and puree till smooth and frothy
pour it in container and freeze for few more hours..
You can repeat the process two more times for more
creamy ice cream
Scoop and serve
