    Malai ladoo

Paneer ladoo is my latest discovery, I got this recipe from the milkmaid website and it is pretty easy to make and taste so yum. You just need a handful of ingredients and this is a tasty ladoo.

    About Ladoo

Laddu or laddoo is a spherical sweet originating from the Indian  subcontinent. Flour, fat (ghee/butter/oil), and sugar are the main ingredients of laddus. Gram flour is commonly used in laddus, however semolina can also be used. Ingredients such as chopped nuts and/or dried raisins are sometimes included. The ingredients
used in each recipe may differ. During festive or religious occasions, laddus are frequently served. The recipe for this laddu originated in north India, however, it is now popular throughout the Indian subcontinent.

I used store bought paneer to make this dish, if you want you can make your own chenna and make it. Recipe for making chenna is here.

    Ingredients for Paneer Ladoo recipe

    Sweetened Condensed Milk :

It adds just the appropriate amount of sweetness to the dish. The sweetened condensed milk, which is created by heating sugar and milk and reducing it to a creamy consistency, provides the creaminess.

    Cardamom Powder :

Its the powdered version of green cardamom seeds. It, like many other Indian sweets, is used as a flavouring. If you don't like it, you can skip it.

    Kewra Essence :

The scent of kewra flowers is sweet and perfumed, with a pleasant quality akin to rose blooms, although kewra is more fruity. Kewra is also utilised as a functional scent and in Ittar in traditional Indian perfumery.

      Hi Mam
I tried this at home it came out so well. Just a clarification, the ladoo after it was left to cool down tasted a little clumsy and dry is it how it is supposed to be
