    Mint Meringue Cookies Recipe with Step by Step Pictures.

    Mint Meringue Cookies Recipe

    These cookies are light and so crispy. It is super easy to make and taste absolutely delicious. Love the crispy texture of the cookies with a pop of mint flavour in them.

    How to Make Mint Kisses Recipe

    • Preheat oven to 100 degree c / 200 degree f.
    • Take egg white in a clean dry bowl and whip till light and creamy.
    • Add in cream of tartar and whip till combined.
    • Now start adding powdered sugar little by little. Keep whipping.
    • Keep beating till thick and shiny.
    • Take little mix between your fingers and there should be no grits of sugar in them. It should be smooth.
    • Now add in extract and food colour and whip well.
    • Fill this in piping bag with star nozzle.
    • Line parchment paper in tray.
    • Pipe little stars in the parchment.
    • Pop this in oven middle rack and bake for 1 to 2 hours till it is completely dry. Once it is cooked, keep the oven closed and let the tray be inside the oven for 1 to 2 hours.
    • Now remove it and cool completely.
    • Store in air tight container.

    Pro Tips

    1)Don't heat the oven more than 100 degree c.
    2)Keep baking the cookies for longer time like 1 to 2 hours till it is crispy.
    3)Taste the cookies, if it is chewy then bake for another 15 to 30 mins till crispy.
    4)Turn the oven off and let the tray be inside the oven and cool gradually for another 2 hours. It will make it crispy.
    5)If you don't have cream of tartar use lemon juice instead.
    6)Use powdered sugar for fluffy texture. I powdered normal granulated sugar in blender till fine.
    7)Beat the mixture till there is no sugar grits visible.

    Mint meringue cookies is a very light melt in mouth crispy cookies which is made using egg whites. This cookies has a pop of mint flavour.

    Ingredients

    • Egg white - 2
    • Sugar - ½ cup powder it
    • Cream of tartar or Lemon juice - ⅛ tsp
    • Mint extract few drops
    • Blue food colour few drops

    Mint Meringue Cookies With Step by Step Pictures

    1)Take a piping bag.

    2)Fill with star tip.

    3)Take egg white in a bowl.

    4)Beat till frothy.

    5)Now it is whipped till frothy.

    6)Take cream of tartar

    7)Add in ⅛ tsp cream of tartar. You can add in lemon juice instead of cream of tartar

    8)Whip till frothy.

    9)I took normal sugar in a blender and powdered it. Measure ½ cup of powdered sugar.

    10)Start adding little by little.

    11)Add very little in

    12)Whip till frothy.

    13)Add more sugar

    14)Keep beating till frothy

    15)Now it is nice and shiny

    16)Take small portion in your fingers.

    17)Rub it between your fingers. There should be no grits of sugar.

    18)Add in mint extract

    19)Add in blue food colour

    20)MIx well

    21)Like this.

    22)Gently mix using spatula

    23)Fill piping bag with the cream

    24)Line a baking pan with parchment paper

    28)Place it in oven and bake for 1 to 2 hours

    29)Once it cooked. Turn off the oven and let the pan be inside the oven covered and get completely dry for another 2 hours.

    30)Taste a cookie if it is still chewy you need to bake for more time.

    31)Serve
