    Nattu Kozhi Varuval Recipe

This is one chicken dish which i have been planning to make for a very long time. I made it yesterday and it was spot on..The flavours were perfect and we enjoyed with rice..

Nattu Kozhi / Country Chicken is so much healthy and has lots of health benefits in them that normal broiler chicken..So hubby has taken a decision to buy nattu kozhi every sunday. Last sunday i told him to get the drumstick of nattu kozhi as whole so i can make this recipe to post here. This one is hubby's favourite and he loved it to the core.

Version 1 : Nattu Kozhi Varuval Recipe

The first version is a deep fried nattu kozhi varuval. It has raw papaya paste added for tenderization. If you don't use raw papaya then the chicken might be hard and tough. Raw papaya paste and the longer marination makes the chicken juicy.

Since i used country chicken, it is pretty tough. So i used raw papaya to make it tender.

Do you need to put in the raw papaya? And if we don't will it affect the flavour of the chicken. Thanks and chicken looks lovely.
