About this Recipe
Oatmeal is a porridge that is made from milled, steel-cut, or rolled oat grains. Oats, an ancient cereal grain, come in a variety of forms, from rolled oats to instant oatmeal to whole oat groats, but they all begin as oat plant seeds.
Oats are also known as Jaie in India. They are widely grown in Haryana and Punjab in India; these grains require paddy fields to grow. Furthermore, these plants are typically grown using an organic cultivation method.
Who made oatmeal cookies?
Fannie Merritt Farmer invented the first oatmeal cookie in the United States. However, they did not become popular until the 1900s, when Quaker Oats made the wise decision to print the recipe for oatmeal cookies on their containers, introducing the world to these delectable treats.
