Oatmeal Jammys Recipe – Chewy Oatmeal Jam Cookies Recipe

You all know how much i love cookies, they are my go to snack. Not only it is easy to make but it is such a delicious treat to have on hand when your sweet cravings hit..

Ingredients:

Unsalted Soft Butter – 1/2 cup / 100 grams
Brown Sugar – 1/2 cup packed / 100 grams
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Sugar – 2 tblspn
Egg – 1
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 3/4 cup / 90 grams
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Rolled Oats or Any Oats – 1 1/2 cup / 135 grams
Jam as needed


(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Take flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt in a bowl and mix well.

Take butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, egg in a bowl and whisk till creamy.

Add in flour, oats, white chocolate chips and fold gently.

Now use a icecream scoop to scoop the batter into the pan, make a dent in the center using your finger, fill it with jam and bake for 12 to 14 mins.

Remove it and cool it in the pan for 5 mins.,Then remove to a cooling rack and cool.

Store it in a air tight container.

Serve.

take butter in a bowl

add brown sugar and normal sugar

add vanilla

add egg

whisk well

add flour mix

add oatmeal

mix well

add white chocolate chips

mix well

use icecream scoop to scoop the batter

place it on a baking pan

make a indent in the middle

like this

add in some jam

like this

bake till done

cool it down
