I made a huge batch of pizza dough and tried out quite a few pizza recipe, finally i was left out with a ball of pizza dough. So i thought of making a easy calzone recipe. And it turned out so good. Loved it.

The calzone had a perfect crust because of my no fail pizza dough recipe..It is soft, crispy and chewy..
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 15 to 20 mins
Serves : 2

Ingredients:

Pizza Dough  (LINK HERE)

Tomato Ketchup as needed
Onion sliced as needed
Bell Peppers / Capsicum sliced as needed
Salt to taste
Italian Seasoning as needed
Cheese as needed
Oil as needed

Method:

Preheat oven to 200 Degree C. Line a foil lined baking tray with oil and set aside.

Take a small ball of pizza dough. Roll it out.

Spread some ketchup, sprinkle with onions, peppers, salt , italian seasoning and cheese.

Fold it gently. Seal the edges with a fork.

Now Oil the top of the calzone and sprinkle with some seasoning.

Bake it for 15 to 20 min.

Remove it and serve.

    Dear Aarthi,

The pizza dough is absolutely no fail recipe 🙂 I have tried – Pizza, garlic rolls and calzone.

You are awesome and I know you will not respond to my comment. you are too modest. I follow your blog and would like to thank you for such easy yet delicious recipes. The pictorial representation is awesome.

    Thanks 🙂

@sandhu singhit depends on each oven, if you want brown colour, after baking it, just grill it for 1 min so it gets colour on top
