    Preparation Time : 15 mins
    Cooking Time : 10 mins
    Chilling Time : 3 to 4 hours
    Serves : 2 to 4

    Ingredients:

    Vanilla Cake - as needed
Plums - 12 chopped ( use any fruits you like)
    Sugar - 2 tblspn
    Cherry for topping

    For Cream:
    Cream - ½ cup ( I used 25% fat fresh cream)
    Sugar - 1 tblspn
    Vanilla Essence - ½ tsp

    For Custard:
    Custard Powder - 2.5 tblspn
    Milk - ½ liter / 500 ml
    Sugar - 4 tblspn
    Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

    Method:

Take custard powder in a bowl. Add in ½ cup of milk and mix well. Set aside.

Heat milk and sugar in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil.

Add in custard mix and keep cooking till it gets thick.

Add in vanilla and mix well. Pour this into a bowl and cover with a plastic wrap, make sure the wrap touches the top of the custard so when it cools no crust forms on top. Chill this till use.

Chop up plums or any fruits into small pieces, add sugar to it and mix well. Set aside.

Whip cream with sugar and vanilla till thick. Set aside.

Take your serving glasses, fill the bottom with cake, spoon some plum mix over it, top with custard, now top again with cake pieces, top with plum mix and top with custard mix. Finish the top with cream and place a cherry over it.

Chill this for 3 to 4 hours.

    Serve.
